Auxilium Navajeevana Secundrabad celebrated Children’s Day on 08.11.204.
A session on “Human Trafficking against woman and children” by asking question “what is the bad touch and good touch?” was conducted by Sr. Shanta. Children were very attentive and alert as sister explained about it. Children were invited to give examples about bad touch and bad touch. The posters and the drawings were presented on the board and around the hall. Debate and games were conducted regarding the exploitation of women and children. The staff, sisters and children raised many questions against Trafficking the children and women. After watching the Movie on Human Trafficking, they were very much taken up and they have taken the promise to work against Human Trafficking.
They have decided to tell their peer group not to let child marriage happen; particularly as many of their classmates are getting married when they are minors. One of our girls convinced her classmate not to get married at the age of 13. s.
