Exposure programme for SHG women- Maradiyur

CDEW organized one day of exposure programme on 27th of September for SHG women of Maradiyur. This exposure was as part of the two days of workshop on Organic Farming and Alternative Livelihood which was held on 11th and 12th Sept. by Dr. Rajendran from Bangalore.

15 animators of SHGs were taken to a farm where they make organic manure in Madikeri. The animators were exposed to the modern way of cultivation of pepper which is the cash crop of the locality. They were also given demonstration of preparing organic manure.
