NCP Leaders Kerala Region Training Programme

Three days (16.4.2018 to 18.4.2018) training programme for “Neighbourhood Children’s Parliament Leaders Kerala Regional level” was organized at Auxilium Puthupally. CDEW Society took initiative to impart deeper knowledge and orientation on NCP and the need of having NCP in their villages. The main focus of the training was to enrich the leaders with the leadership qualities and the rights of the children. Mrs. Libya inaugurated the camp with her insiring talk on Leaders and the qualities these children should acquire.

There were altogether 48 leaders, 8 sisters and 4 animators from 5 different centres of the Kerala region. The training content included, What is Neighbourhood Children’s Parliament? The need of NCP, duties of the ministers and procedure of meeting, Leadership, the qualities of a good leader, Child rights, Child Protection Policy and use of technology.

The children were extremely enthusiastic, excited and creative in all the activities throughout these three days. The annual report exhibited the numerous activities carried out by them in their locality and they were quite impressive.

These days were indeed remarkable moments in the minds and hearts of these children as a result of the various activities and games; especially the camp fire indeed made them the days more joyful and memorable one.
