The day was made remarkable by the very presence of Staff and students because almost everyone turned Orange in their costume!!! The Orange colored environment already boosted every inmate of Auxilium School, Gavaravaram to celebrate the Orange Day - A day against Human Trafficking.

The day began with the enactment of the last day of Rehanna Jebbari an Iranian girl who was executed for murdering the man who attempted rape against her. The moving story of Rehanna brought tears and we whispered a prayer for all the girl children and women who are suffering.
The students displayed street play where various atrocities against girl children were very clearly depicted. Sr. Lily appreciated the Staff and students for such wonderful effort to raise their voices for a wonderful cause. Mr. Jose spoke about the various Child Protection Acts namely POSCO Act, Good touch and Bad touch, Measures to protect and also remedial process with contact persons. Mrs. Manikya Veena spoke about the Rights and laws that are implemented to abolish the Abuse of children.
Soon after the programme at the school premises a team of 10 students, 4 staff and along with the special invitees, set out to 3 different Government Schools and a College to spread awareness on Child rights and Child Abuse. The special invitees continued to share their valuable experiences all through the campaign.
It was a Golden Day marked in the History of Auxilium School because we reached out to the students of almost all the age groups about 6 - 17. The total number of students we reached out today was 550 other than 500 of our own school and together they make 1050 students. WOW!!!!! We sincerely Thank CDEW - Bangalore for the Inspiration and Motivation behind this wonderful work!!!
