Valli
Valli and her three younger sisters reached at Auxilium Navajeevana Bangalore when they were just 12, 10, 8 and 5 years of old respectively. They were orphans as their mother died due to cancer and father left the family before mother’s death. The mother was working in a factory to feed the children. After her death, 12 year old Valli took on the work which her mother was doing to take care of the siblings, earning per day Rs. 50/- as she was only a child. Understanding the pathetic situation of the children, a neighbour philanthropist brought them to Navajeevana. The children were given all the possible supports and admitted them to the schools according to their age.
Valli could complete the bridge course successfully and enrolled in class VII. She struggled but with determination, she scored good marks in class 10 and completed PUC with FirstClass. Subsequently she completed B.Com and is doing M.Com. Sisters were seeking marriage proposal for Vally and a good family proposed her for their son. Sisters found the proposal well suits her and their wedding took place on 12 December2020.
Now Valli is living happily with her husband Mr. Vinod who is working in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in KGF. Her sisters too are studying under the care of the Sisters of Navajeevana, longing to have a bright future.
