8th of March being Sunday we had women’s day celebrated on Monday on 9th March.
The chief guest is our dear Mother Provincial Sr.Cresentia.
The program began with the prayer dance and lighting of the lamp, followed by scripture reading. The Korean dance, the Maim on ‘the women of 20th century and 21st century’.
Telugu dance depicting the struggles of women were inspiring and touching. The Provincial spoke on the theme for women’s day ‘MAKE IT HAPPEN’. She encouraged the assembly to respect and give freedom for the women. And she told the students to become committed, responsible and be convinced of what they are doing. Mr. Babu one of the teachers spoke on “women’s power”. He said without women the creation is not complete. Educate the girls to have a better future and make it happen’ he said.
